An API (Application Programming Interface) is a software solution that allows applications to communicate with each other and exchange services or data
Several steps are necessary to design APIs:
Step 1: Obtain an API key
Before testing, you must obtain an API Key and a subscription key
- As an administrator, you get an API Key by "CegidLife" .
Note: The API key is composed of a key + client secret.
The client secret as its name suggests, should be stored securely in order to ensure that you are only one making calls and registering as your application.
-
- When you are ready to start testing, contact the Cegid referent to obtain a subscription key. We will provide you with your production references.
- Link of documentation
- Standard Loop APIKey services P04448 are free
- The Loop APIs on the portal "cegid Developers " with tag *** are subject to pricing if you want to use them you need the subscription to the APIKey Advanced services, article P04454 in production
Step 2: Using the Public API Development Portal
The following can be used to get familiar with authentication and Loop Public API:
"Swagger"
Step 3: Using APIs in Loop applications
You have access to the description of public API in each application's documentation.
Take advantage of our APIs and the examples in our documentation to boost your test process.
You can continue the configuration in Loop Hub of the API Key
